Silver price chart for 2006 shows that silver was rapidly gaining in the first four months of the year. The yearly low was formed on January 5 at $8.94. In the early May silver got close to $15.00. The yearly high was formed on May 11 at $14.94. Then it retraced most of this advance, as it declined below $10.00 in June. In the second half of the year silver was gaining. Overall, silver gained $4.09 (46.01%) in 2006. The final close of the year was $12.98.
