Silver price chart for 2005 shows that silver was gaining in the first two months of the year. The yearly low was formed on January 7 at $6.45. Then it got close to $8.00, before consolidating along the level of $7.00-$7.50 for the next seven months. In September-December silver resumed its uptrend. The yearly high was formed December 9 at $9.10. Overall, silver gained $1.68 (23.30%) in 2005. The final close of the year was $8.89.
