Can you please comment on the usefulness and accuracy of point and figure charts? Do you use them?
We didn't find them particularly useful for the precious metals market and we don't use them directly. We use them indirectly in the form of the Gold Miner's Bullish Percent Index that we feature from time to time. This index is based on the point & figure chart for gold stocks. Precisely, we don't use this index alone, but rather RSI and Williams' %R that are based on it.
