Subscription Upgrade/Downgrade - Credit Card

Step 1. Please check if your subscription has been indeed completed using a credit card. If the "Active Subscriptions" section contains the "- Credit Card" phrase, please go to step 2. If it contains the "- PayPal" phrase, please click here.
Step 2. Click on the "Membership Type" list to expand it.
Step 3. Please select the subscription type that you would like to upgrade to (for instance a yearly subscription) from the drop-down list, and click the "Order" button.
Step 4. You will be transferred to the PayPal payment page, where you will need to use your existing PayPal account, or (if you don't have a PayPal account yet) create one - you may find more information about PayPal in our PayPal-tutorial. The already-paid-for subscription days will be automatically added to your new subscription.
To be clear - these days will be priced $0.01 or $0.02 (yes, one or two cents), due to the technical specification of the PayPal system (we never receive this money, as PayPal has a minimum payment processing fee which is higher than $0.01). For example if you had 17 days until the next renewal date and you choose to pay for the next year, you will be billed $0.01 for the first 17 days, and then $499.95 per 360 days.
Step 5. Once you have completed your subscription using the PayPal mechanism, you will be transferred back to our website. Please go to the "My account" page once again.
Step 6. You will notice that you have now two active subscriptions, credit-card one and PayPal one. The next step is to cancel your previous subscription - the one that you have established without the PayPal system in the first place. In order to proceed click on the "cancel" link next to the "Premium Service - 30 days - Credit Card" product. You will be transferred to the website our our other payment processor - CCBill, where you will need to cancel your subscription with us.
After you cancel your subscription on the CCBill's website, you should receive an e-mail (from support@ccbill.com - if you can't find it in your inbox, then perhaps it is in your spam folder) saying that your subscription has been canceled.
Please note that at this point you will still see the "cancel" link on our "My Account / Log in" page. This is normal behavior and it does not mean that your (credit card / CCBill) subscription is still active. It will "expire" and the "cancel" link will disappear once the paid-for period is over - in the abovementioned case it would take place on 08/08/2009.
If you don't receive the confirmation e-mail from CCBill, or you would like us to cancel your Credit Card subscription for you (after you have subscribed with PayPal), please contact us.
