Silver price chart for 2008 shows that silver was gaining in the first two months of the year. The yearly high was formed on March 5 at $20.79. In the next four-five months, silver was fluctuating along $17.00-$19.00. In August-October it was sharply declining. The yearly low was formed on October 28 at $8.79. Overall, silver lost $3.63 (24.30%) in 2008. The final close of the year was $11.30.
